Moneychangers transmit electronically to the Body the transactions carried out consisting in spot trading of means of payment in currency.

 

In particular, they communicate:


a) the identification data of the client;
b) the data relating to the operation.


(see Articles 1, paragraph 1, letter f, and 6, of the Decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of April 2, 2015).

The detail, in digital format, of the above transactions, consists of a sequence of records, each relating to the information inherent in the individual transaction.

Moneychangers fulfil this obligation by using a special telematic service, present in the dedicated private area of the Body's portal, according to the modalities that will be indicated with a specific provision.

Moneychangers transmit the data relating to the transactions carried out on a monthly basis, by the 15th day of the month following the month to which the transactions relate.

Only the first transmission of data relating to the month, or fraction thereof, in which the moneychangers have obtained registration in the appropriate OAM Register will be made by the 15th day of the following month.

The Body keeps the transmitted data for a period of ten years, ensuring the provision of suitable data backup and Disaster Recovery systems to ensure operational continuity and prevent any loss thereof.
